ATI Tray Tools (ATT) is a freeware program developed by Ray Adams for ATI Radeon video cards.
ATI Tray Tools is an advanced tweaker-application that resides in the notification area of the Windows taskbar and allows instant access to video options and settings via a right-click menu.

It is normally used as an alternative to the more bulky official Catalyst
Control Center (CCC), but it can also run in tandem with it.

Ati Tray Tools main features

* The ability to change the resolution, colors, rotation, and extended desktop settings directly from ATT's right-click menu.
* Changing of OpenGL/Direct3D settings (antialiasing or anisotropic filtering, for example) separate from one another.
* Game profiles, a feature allowing specific OpenGL/Direct3D settings for each game or 3d application.
* Over/UnderClocking of graphics hardware
* Hotkey mapping
* The taking of screenshots
* Hardware monitoring
* OnScreen Display: When an OpenGL/Direct3D application running, the FPS, 3D API type, GPU Activity, and related information are
overlayed on top of the rendering stream on a corner of the screen.

* Support for plugins created for ATI Tray Tools

Salve a tutti,
questa è un'iniziativa libera partita da me (Bhairava) e dal forum HWUPGRADE.IT, per aiutare Ray Adams a continuare il suo splendido lavoro con ATI TRAY TOOLS, il miglior software esistente per la gestione delle schede ATI. Purtroppo i moderatori di HWUPGRADE.IT, non mi consentono di intraprendere un'azione pubblica per raccogliere fondi. Ray in questo momento, per motivi personali, non può acquistare una nuova 4800, quindi il progetto ATT rischia di morire per sempre.
Aiutateci a raccogliere i soldi per comprare e mandare una 4800 a Ray!!!! Io credo che noi tutti, che da anni usiamo al meglio le nostre ATI grazie a lui, potremmo fare un piccolo regalo a questo geniale programmatore.
E' una vergogna che ATI non mandi nemmeno una misera scheda a Ray, che ha contribuito così tanto alla diffusione e al funzionamento di queste schede grafiche.
Facciamolo noi.

Hello everyone,
this is a free initiative, born by me (Bhairava) and the HWUPGRADE.IT forum to help Ray Adams to continue his excellent work with ATI TRAY TOOLS, the best existing software for the ATI cards management. Unfortunately the HWUPGRADE.IT moderators did not allow me to take a public action to pick up funds. Ray at the moment, for personal reasons, can not buy a new 4800, and then the ATT project is likely to die forever.
Help us to collect money to buy and send a 4800 VGA to Ray! I believe that all of us, who have been using for years our ATI with ATT thanks him, we could make a small gift to this brilliant programmer.
It's a shame that ATI does not even send a card to Ray, who has contributed so much to spread and success of these graphics cards.
Let's do it by ourselves!!!!
In this page will be transcribed the names of those who contribute towards achieving the sum needed.

I installed ATI tray tools when I had a HD 4200.
It frooze Windows XP.
Now I got a ATI HD5770 and it frozen the computer.
Whats going on ?

ATT it's a program made for tweak discrete video cards.
Radeon 42x0 video cards are integrated and ATT may not support them.
(chipsetintegrated graphic cards tweaking is not a great solution to do because can corrupt the main system northbridge)

Anonimo: Yes I know , but now I got a HD 5770 which is a discrete card.
I have disabled the HD4200 in the bios.
When I uninstalled ATI tray tools, Comodo heuristics said it could be melware..... I let it uninstall.

create a comodo's rule to allow ATT run.
Your firewall or AV software may recognize ATT as malware because it uses a level-zero driver (that's used in some viruses) but ATT it's 100% malware free. =)

ATTUSER: Hey there, I dont know if Im supposed to do this in here but I would like to request something for ATT. Up to 16xAA and the ability to force SSAA via ATT. Then everything would be perfect.

jcgeny: hi , my pc has two hd5970 and a gtx260 ; when i set crossfirex then the nvidia does no start the monitor .
if i disable crossX then the gtx260 is on but 1 ati gpu is off , if i re-enable crossX with ccc then pc reboot and crossX is not enabled in win7 . is your software able to change these ?
